The summer holidays are nearly over and it’s back to club next Saturday (6th September 25). But what’s been happening over the summer, well.
The Summer Holidays started with Jason leading a Cafe ride to Honeydale Farm. which was well attended by both Kids and grown-ups. Looks like a great time was had by all
Monty and Jason then headed off for a bit of riding in France. Monty made it all the way to the top of Mount Ventoux. Well done, young man, that was an excellent effort. And Jason didn’t do too badly either.
The Coaches have been busy too this summer with rides out and celebrations.
August saw Clive celebrate 20 years of coaching at Team Darneth. Thank you, Clive, for all the hard work you have put into our club over the many years.
In addition to celebrating, the coaches have been out riding to. But Russ needs to work on his gate approaches.
Club Saturday session starts back on Saturday, 6th September, with a nice simple rideout for all the group to get those cycling brains and legs working again. So clean your bike, find your kit and we’ll see you all on Saturday.
