
Membership
Application for membership of The Club shall be open to anyone interested in the sport of cycling, regardless of sex, age, disability, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs. However, the limitation of membership according to available facilities is allowable on a nondiscriminatory basis.
The Club offers 4 categories of membership:
- Youth member.
- Adult member.
- Volunteer member. (This membership categories is assigned by the Clubs committee)
- Lifetime member. (This membership category is assigned by the Club’s committee)
Membership categories
Youth membership
Youth membership is open to all children aged 5 to 18 years of age
All youth members are required to have British cycling membership
The Club will hold personal information about the members and their parent/guardian in accordance with the club’s privacy policy
Cost
- £15 one-off membership fee per person.
- £15 per month for the first member, and £8 per sibling member.
Adult membership
Open to all Adults aged over 18 years of age
All Adult members riders are required to have British cycling membership
The Club will hold personal information about the members in accordance with the club’s privacy policy
Cost
- £30 annual membership fee per person.
Volunteer membership
Open to all adult members who commit to supporting the club by becoming a coach or ride leader, or helping with club activities.
Once an adult member has completed 6 months (approx. 50 hours) of volunteering with the club, they will be eligible for this membership category.

All volunteer members are required to have a British Cycling membership, a DBS, and a Safeguarding qualification
Cost
- No cost
Lifetime membership
Lifetime membership is an honorary position that is awarded to a member who has made an extraordinary contribution to the club.
Lifetime membership will be granted to the individual by the club’s committee

If the lifetime member is an active member of the club, they are required to have British Cycling membership, DBS, and a Safeguarding qualification
