Off-road leader training
The Coaches have been getting their Off-road leader and Trail leader qualifications sorted, ready for when the club returns in September. Really enjoyable course delivered by Windy from WyeMTB. Can’t wait to take you all out for rides again and show you all what we have learnt.
Pedal to Paris
Dave ( Zack and Joseph’s Dad) took part in the Royal British Legion Pedal to Paris to raise funds for the Armed Forces community and their families.
Exploring the New Forest
Chris has been leading another one of his epic rides. This time exploring the New Forest. A great time was had by all, and the ice cream was totally earnt
Returning after the summer holidays
Our first session back after the Summer holidays will be Saturday 12th September.
This would be a good time to give you an update on where we (TD) are with the ride leader/ taking kids offsite for a ride issue that we spoke about at the end of June.
WE HAVE FIXED IT… and we’ll be back to normal from September.
We have now trained 6 Off-road leaders with more to follow in the next couple of months. We have updated all the clubs’ policies and procedures to reflect the changes needed. And we have finally had some clarification from BC on what is acceptable as a club activity. It’s taken a lot of effort to get all this done, so a big thank you to everyone who’s helped. There is something I need you all to do before returning to club in September, and thats complete a new membership form. One of the outcomes from all this work is that TD needs it members to agree to different T&C and give more permissions. The easiest way to do this is to complete a new membership form for everyone.
